Planet People Launches “Who cares about this Planet?” Challenge

Planet People, the manufacturer of innovative and sustainable cleaning products, is proud to launch the Who cares about this Planet? Challenge, a video contest urging both individuals and groups to challenge convention and inspire environmental change. The Challenge asks for submissions of creative and innovative environmentally sustainable project ideas that can make a sustainable impact within their communities. To accept the Challenge, contestants need to create and upload a video of their idea to iQ’s Facebook page, where 10 finalists will be selected by an Advisory Committee.

A nationwide graphic design competition titles ‘Make Your Mark’ has been launched to select a symbol that will represent bioplastics. The recycling symbol was similarly created in 1970 through a similar competition. The idea of the new symbol is to indicate that a product is made from green, bio-based material, and not petroleum-based material. Gary Anderson who designed the won the original competition that produced the globally recognized recycling symbol still seen on recycled and recyclable products today over 41 years ago.
