How would you like to get off-grid… stop paying those staggering electricity bills… and say goodbye to the electric company – forever?

Now it’s POSSIBLE - using nothing but renewable energy, straight from Mother Nature:

It’s affordable…

It’s green…

It’s endless…

And you can recoup your investment in just a few months…

And this is only the start of it…

But…

The truth is, going green is hard for most folks…

That’s because a lot of information published by books and magazines is dead wrong… when it comes to slashing your utility bills or breaking free from the electric company.

The larger companies don’t want the little guy like you or me to end up the dependency on the energy, because they will make less money.

So that’s why, most people are struggling when it comes to piecing all the puzzle together… and make renewable energy work for them as too.

Going green on your own is simply too hard – if you’re only starting out.

That’s why I’ve put together what’s probably the ONLY tell-all guide about going off-grid – and even getting the electric company to pay you.

Now it’s up to you. And if your energy freedom meens anything to you – you’ll definitely enjoy Renewable Energy Secret!

Solar energy, by virtue of its being readily available almost throughout the world and being absolutely pollution free, is becoming an increasingly sought after alternative source of energy. It is now being increasingly used for powered electricity generation through the use of solar panels. While it still has to catch on a huge way, many signs are increasingly pointing towards an increasing awareness and readiness to use these in homes-even if just for heating water in most of the cases.

For this purpose, a solar panel is used which comprises of a large array of back squares-these squares are known as Photovoltaic cells. These cells focus on gathering sunlight on a concentrated point so that it becomes very powerful and does the mandated job. In case the job is to heat water, the water is held in the panels and is heated through the concentrated action of sunlight and gets pumped into the pipes to the bathroom.

Many people believe that these cells won’t be able to work in stormy or cloudy days. In fact with increasing research and development, not only are these cells becoming more efficient at absorbing enough light on either sunny or cloudy days, but they are also becoming generally more efficient, more productive, stronger and less expensive. Many options are also being explored and brought into practice. Such as- A company, Uni-Solar has developed solar collection arrays for home use that have an advanced system which lets them store enough energy through the sunny days so that this energy can be used on other days also.

Another option in this regard goes by the name of PV System, already used in some small towns and suburban communities. This system works by connecting to the closest electrical fixture and transferring any excess sun-created power being stored at a certain house. This means more energy for the community, lowering of individual expenses, less pollution, less pressure on the grid and less stress on the nonrenewable energy producing facilities.

It is because of these various benefits and a kind of win-win situation being created for all that many big corporations are jumping in the fray to use solar power as an efficient renewable energy fuel. Such as- Google building a huge solar radiation collection farm on the top of its corporate seat. Meanwhile, smart nations like powers in Asia and the West have got ahead in the race by providing grants to researchers or by allowing tax rebates to groups and people who take the initiative to use renewable energy sources for producing what they need for consumption. Because more and more technological advancements are made and this area becomes highly profitable as well as an ethical necessity, we can look forward to living in a much greener, cleaner world.

One way to conserve computer energy usage is by server consolidation. You can achieve a very tangible energy reduction by replacing a large quantity of computers with smaller, more energy efficient units. The upside is that the new generation of compact computers are not only more energy efficient, but they are more powerful, as well. Also, consider replacing desktop PCs with notebooks. This move alone can save you as much as 75% or more on your computer energy costs.

Efficient document management is vital to an eco-friendly business, as it saves on paper consumption. It also benefits the balance sheet because you buy less paper.

Larger businesses can save money on travel expenses and cut down on toxic emissions by utilizing video conference call systems rather than traveling to and from business meetings.

Webinars are another great way to put large groups of people together for conferencing without the expense and pollution of traveling to seminars.

You can run many virtual servers on one physical server through a method called virtualization that dupes a computer into thinking that it is running on actual hardware, although it is really running multiple virtual machines from one physical machine through the use of an additional software layer.

Other ways to achieve green savings for your company are much simpler. You can arrange equipment into particular hot and cold areas to reduce cooling costs. You can turn down the thermostat a couple of degrees and make sure that all non-essential electrical equipment is turned off before closing each night. Your business can save on lighting costs by using fluorescent Energy Star rated light bulbs as opposed to standard incandescent lighting.

Carpooling and public transportation are great options for reducing emissions. Encourage your employees to carpool or provide them with some free passes to use public transit rather than driving at all.

If you put your mind to it, you can find lots of ways to make your business operation more green. It is a progressive process that will lead you into more and more areas of conservation. The good news is that almost anything you can do to conserve consumption at your place of business will have a positive environmental impact and save you money, too.

Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a poisonous gas that you can’t see, smell or taste. Because of these invisible and odorless traits, it is often referred to as a silent killer. Carbon Monoxide gasses are produced from burning fuels such as wood, propane, oil, natural gas, kerosene, diesel, and coal when they do not burn properly. Now that does not mean that these are unsafe fuel sources, however like most things of this nature, proper precautions should be taken. All fuel burning equipment needs an adequate supply of fresh air in order to function properly, along with proper ventilation to carry the poisonous exhaust gases outside of the home.

Carbon Monoxide, the Silent Killer

If you happen to notice stale or relatively stuffy air, excessive moisture on your windows and walls or black soot build up around heating appliances or vents then you may have a CO problem in your home. All above are signs are indicators that Carbon Monoxide may be present and you or your family may experience flu like symptoms due to some degree of exposure to the CO gasses.

When a person gets exposed to CO gasses they may experience flu like symptoms such as headaches, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, drowsiness, burning eyes, confusion and unconsciousness. If somebody in your home experiences these symptoms at home but then the symptoms diminish when they leave the home then there may be Carbon Monoxide present. If you think there may be CO present in your home then you should leave immediately and seek medical attention or simply dial 911 (you can also consult your fuel provider for more information). In some severe cases, prolonged exposure to Carbon Monoxide poisoning can result in death so you should treat this problem seriously.

Proper installation, inspection and regular maintenance of any fuel burning equipment is probably the best defense against any harmful releases of CO gases into your home. However, having good CO detectors is a great way to protect yourself from this silent killer, But do keep in mind that having a CO detector should not eliminate the need for regular inspections of your equipment by a licensed heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractor.

Just like we do for smoke detectors, remember to change the batteries in your CO detectors when you change the clocks for day light savings. If your CO detector plugs into a wall outlet then double check to see if it is still operating with the test button and check to see if it has back up batteries.

So in summary, to protect yourself from any

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning , just install CO detectors and make sure they work properly with good batteries. If you do not have one yet you can get one for less then $50 such as the one listed below, so go out now and protect your home … better yet protect your family

The term Global warming refers to the gradual rise in the earth’s temperature. Global warming has been an environmental issue that has plagued the entire globe for a few years now and researchers have said that the global warming will cause a complete change on the planet, with the same catastrophic effects as the ice age. Small effects can be seen already in the North and South Poles, where the ice bergs are beginning to melt. There is also evidence of the sea levels rising in certain areas.

Global warming has been directly attributed to the hole in the ozone layer which is causing the heating up of the earth’s atmosphere from the sun. This is commonly referred to as the greenhouse effect. It is said that if the hole in the ozone layer continues to grow, global warming could accelerate quite dramatically. This is why many countries have come together and signed agreements to cut down on fuel emissions into the atmosphere and use various other forms of energy that are safe for the ozone layer.

Other causes that are considered to be contributing factors to the increase in the temperatures of the atmosphere are volcano eruptions since the mid 20th century and solar variations. Global warming will have other effects on the world as we know it, and as one part of the climate changes, so other changes will occur. The average temperature of the earth has increased dramatically in the last decade or so, and as the temperatures get warmer, so the sea level will rise causing a difference in the amounts of precipitation that occur. This could mean that extreme weather conditions will develop like excessive storms with heavier rainfall and others. There is also expected to be slower summer stream flow, a difference in agricultural growth and harvest, as well as certain extinction of animal and plant species.

Most of the major scientific institutions blame the greenhouse effect and the greenhouse gases for the increase in global warming. The main greenhouse gases are methane, carbon dioxide, and water vapor. While water vapor and methane are not present for very long in the earth’s atmosphere, carbon dioxide can remain in the atmosphere for many years and when combined with the water vapor can escalate the rate at which global warming takes place. What happens is that the carbon dioxide increases the potency of the short term water vapor that is evaporated, which in turn causes more warming, and the cycle continues. This is the feedback effect and the only way to stop global warming is to remove the carbon dioxide that is present in the atmosphere already and definitely not add more to it.
