It seems that nowadays everything is about Green Living. It’s all over the media, it is in our grocery stores, featured on many products and it even seems like even local schools have started green living related fundraisers. It’s not as hard as it seems, all you need to do is make small, nearly-painless changes.
As environmentally-friendly efforts are finding their way into the mainstream, “green living” techniques in the home and workplace are becoming more popular. But it’s more than just a way to save the environment – it can be a great way to save money. Taking care of your daily schedule, like working, attending school and tending to your family, can make it hard to commit to a green lifestyle. But taking a little time to pay attention to how you use the resources around you can provide ideas to save money in your everyday life.
Yesterday I was provided with a pod cast featuring Aggie MacKenzie, most prominently known from the Channel 4 series titled How Clean Is Your House? where she provides her ‘green clean’ tips for autumn to share with EnvironmentGreen.com readers.
She goes on to remind us that as summer comes to an end and closes another great chapter of great barbeques, camping, parties and other holiday activities, it comes time to clean up and prepare for the coming colder months ahead.
